Prior to joining Credit Agricole Securities (USA), Inc in 2006, Mr. Urness began his career as a petroleum engineer at Amoco Production Company and later worked at Phibro Energy.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2003, he was a senior member of the oil services team, concentrating on the drilling companies, at Salomon Smith Barney for eight years.

Mr. Urness earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Houston.
