Mr. Bernstein is a former Senior Portfolio Manager in the Private Banking and Investment Division at Bank One Corporation and the predecessor First Chicago NBD Corporation and NBD Bancorp.
He managed investment portfolio's for high net worth individuals where he had responsibility for assets in excess of $900 million.
In addition to portfolio management, Mr. Bernstein's responsibilities included establishing client objectives, determining appropriate asset allocation, security selection, and the monitoring and evaluating portfolio performance.
He has been involved in the investment industry since 1981 gaining experience as a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch and Kidder, Peabody & Company.
Prior to that, Mr. Bernstein worked in computer hardware marketing and software application support for the Burroughs Corporation.
At MeadowBrook, he is a Senior Portfolio Manager and contributes to the equity selection process.
Mr. Bernstein is a member of the Investment Analyst Society of Detroit.
He received his MBA in Finance from Wayne State University & his BA in Finance also from Wayne State University.
