Michael Yu

Mr. Yu joined iD Innovation in Nov.
2006.
Prior to joining iD Innovation, Mr. Yu served as a Manager in the Taipei Headquarter of Hotung Venture Capital Group since 2002 – a subsidiary of Singapore-listed Hotung Investment Holding Limited (HOTU.SI), one of the leading venture capital groups in Taiwan.
Mr. Yu was the founding team for investment across China and Taiwan-based portfolios including VIS(5347: TT), Depoan(1570:TT), KPG(acquired by Kinik 1560:TT), Besco(acquired by Stanleyworks), Leadtrend, Viking, Nexmax, GTBF.
He is independent supervisor on the Board of Leadtrend, a leading Analogue IC design house in Taiwan since 2003.
Mr. Yu started the career with Ericsson for 2 years and involved in DECT Pre-sale projects, including product promotion, market survey, key account supporting.
After that, Mr. Yu joined Asian Power Device, local power supply provider, and was in charge of sales department.
Mr. Yu received his MBA degree from National Taiwan University and a B.S.E.E.
from National Tsing-Hua University.
