Nicholas Charles Hughes

Mr. Nicholas C.
Hughes is a Chief Operating Officer at Marathon Asset Management LLP.
He joined Marathon in 2005 as Deputy COO and became COO in August 2012.
He has responsibility for all operating areas, including fund management support, operational risk, investment administration, performance management and IT.
Prior to 2005, Mr. Hughes worked for Schroders where he played a number of roles including operational and portfolio risk management, investment support to the Head of Equities and a number of project management roles within the investment division.
Prior to that, he trained as a Qualified Management Accountant with Ernst & Young and was a part of their Business Risk Consulting Practice.
Mr. Hughes graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages (French & German) from Exeter University in 1994.
