Johannesen has been Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Teekay Petrojarl ASA since April 2005.
Prior to his current position at Teekay Petrojarl, he was Personnel Manager of Onshore and Offshore Employees.
Mr. Johannessen joined PGS Production as Offshore Personnel Manager in August 1998.
Before PGS Production, he was Principal Officer of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs from 1993 to 1994, an Assistant Director of the Norwegian Board of Health in 1994 and Personnel Manager of the Directorate for Nature Management from 1994 to 1998.
Mr. Johannessen received a Law degree with honors from the University of Oslo (1989).
