Omar focuses on all startups consumer and consumer tech.
Prior to Joyance, Omar qualified as a PE attorney focusing on M&A and private fund formation at Weil Gotshal & Manges.
He then pivoted to an investor role in a fund of funds focusing on building out the fund’s private equity and venture capital portfolio.
His latest professional investing experience was at Thrive Capital.
Omar holds a BA in Law and Business Studies from Warwick University in the UK and an MBA from The Wharton School focusing on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy.
His hobbies include culinary exploration and all things fitness (if only to offset all the eating).
