Paul Chanin

Mr. Paul Chanin is a Principal & Research Analyst at Indus Capital Partners LLC.
Mr. Chanin joined Indus in May 2014.
He principally conducts analysis in Asia for the Pan-Asia Long Only Strategy.
Prior to that he worked at Citi Group (formerly Salomon Smith Barney) for 13 years, starting in 2000, where he ran the Asia Pacific and Emerging Market quant teams.
From 2002 he was a Managing Director in research for the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to that he was a member of their Asian equity Strategy team, focusing on North Asia.
Mr. Chanin previously worked for Schroders Asia, and Natwest Asia, both in Hong Kong.
Mr. Chanin began his career at Barclays de Zoete Wedd in 1987, where he worked in London until 1992, before moving to Japan in 1992 to work in BZW’s Japanese research department.
Mr. Chanin graduated from Exeter University with a BSc in Computer Science in 1987.
