Ignis Investment Services Ltd. (IIS) is the asset management subsidiary of Ignis Asset Management Ltd., ultimately held by abrdn Plc (LON: ABDN, ADR: SLFPY) in Great Britain. Headquartered in Edinburgh, the firm was formed following the 2008 merger of Resolution Asset Management and Axial Investment Management. They can trace their origins since 1986. IIS offered tailor-made and pooled solutions for small- to medium-sized pension schemes. Resolution Asset Management Ltd. (RAM) is the Glasgow, Scotland-based asset management subsidiary of Ignis Investment Services Ltd., ultimately owned by Pearl Group Ltd. in the UK. Formerly known as Britannic Asset Management Ltd., RAM can trace their origins back to The Foreman and Staff Mutual Benefit Society, established in 1899, and became an independent asset management firm in 1983. In 2006 Britannic Asset Management changed their name to Resolution Asset Management. RAM's core areas of expertise are UK equities, international equities, fixed-income and specialist funds.
