Phil Arnold

Mr. Philip E.
Arnold, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at Hartline Investment Corp.
He joined Hartline in July 2000.
Mr. Arnold was previously employed as a Principal by Northwestern University and President by Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.
In 1970, he helped form an investment advisory firm where he supervised all research and portfolio activities.
After building up this firm, he coordinated its sale in 1978 to a major money center bank.
After completion of the earn-out with this bank in 1981, he and another senior partner of the firm co-founded a new investment firm in Chicago, where he served as the President and Chief Investment Officer for many years.
He is a member of the Association for Investment Management & Research and The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.
Mr. Arnold graduated from Northwestern University in 1959 with a B.A.
in Mathematics.
He received an M.B.A.
from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with a major in Finance and Investments.
