Philip G.
Lewis is Vice President and Director of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainable Development for Rohm & Haas Co. He joined Rohm and Haas in 1983 as Associate Corporate Medical Director and was promoted to Corporate Medical Director in 1988, Director of Safety, Health and Environmental Affairs in 1989 and Vice President in 1993.
Prior to joining Rohm & Haas, he was Chief of Preventive Medicine and Epidemiologist for the III Corps and Darnall Army Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas.
Dr. Lewis is a Teaching Associate in the Division of Occupational Medicine, Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg, School of Public Health and the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. Lewis is a Trustee for Widener University.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Widener University in 1972, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg, School of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine in 1976.
Dr. Lewis finished his residency in General Preventive Medicine in 1978 at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington and Clinical Fellowship in Dermatology, Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in 1983.
