Martin joined Komag, Inc. in 1997 as Vice President of Product Assurance and Product Test and was appointed Senior Vice President of Customer Sales and Service in 1998.
He was appointed an Executive Vice President of Customer Sales and Service for Komag in 2001 and Director of Process and Technology for Quantum Corporation from 1990 to 1997.
Mr. Martin held various management and engineering positions at Western Digital, Seagate Technology and IBM.
He received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
