 Joint Ore Reserves Committee The Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC), established in 1971, is a permanent committee responsible for developing and maintaining the JORC Code, a professional code of practice that sets mandatory minimum standards for public reporting of mineral exploration results, mineral resources, and ore reserves. The non-profit company is based in Carlton South, Australia. The code is incorporated into Australian and New Zealand stock exchange listing rules and defines classification systems, disclosure requirements, and qualifications for competent persons who prepare and approve reports.
