Robert Osterrieth

Mr. Robert Osterrieth is Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Rho Fund Investors.
Mr. Osterrieth co-founded Rho in 1981.
Previously, he was an investment banker with JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley in New York.
In 1985, while working for Rho, he moved to London to focus on investments in Europe.
In 1986 Mr. Osterrieth left Rho to initiate a joint venture with Schroder Ventures (now Permira) to raise and manage Permira German Buyouts, the first institutional buyout fund to invest in Germany.
He also founded Omega Venture Advisers Limited in 1988 to manage private equity investments for wealthy families.
In 1999, he joined Rho again as Managing Partner of Rho Fund Investors and serves on its Investment Committee.
Mr. Osterrieth is a member of the Supervisory Board of two publicly traded companies in Germany, Kleindienst Datentechnik AG and WashTec AG.
Mr. Osterrieth received an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
