Tillinghast was Interim Chief Financial Officer of Mechanical Technology, Inc. from September 26, 2008 to December 1, 2008.
He joined Mechanical Technology in July 2006 and served as Corporate Controller and Director of Financial Reporting.
Mr. Tillinghast had been Assistant Secretary of Mechanical Technology since December 2006.
Prior to joining Mechanical Technology, he was Finance Director for PowerOne Media, Inc. Mr. Tillinghast served as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Controller of Albany Molecular Research, Inc. He served as a Senior Auditor for KPMG LLP.
Mr. Tillinghast received a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York and an MS in Accounting from the State University of New York.
He is a Certified Public Accountant.
