Shi-Chung Ng

Shi Chung Ng joined CytRx Corp.
in April 2008 as Senior Vice President-Research and Development.
He has more than 20 years of drug discovery research experience in the biomedical industry and was Vice President of Molecular Oncology for Ligand Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dr. Ng joined CytRx in April 2008 as Senior Vice President-Research and Development.
He was Vice President of Drug Discovery Biology and Preclinical Development of ArQule, Inc. Dr. Ng was Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Chicago Medical School, Adjunct Faculty Member at Northwestern University, Visiting Professor at Rutgers University, Visiting Research Staff Member at Princeton University and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
He was Vice President of Drug Discovery Biology and Preclinical Development for Arqule, Inc. and held various senior research leadership positions at Abbott Laboratories and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ng was Associate Director of Scientific Affairs for Pfizer International and Senior Research Investigator of Bristol-Meyers Squibb Corporation.
He received a PhD in Biochemistry from Purdue University, a BS degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Harvard Medical School.
