Mr. Fischer joined the Stifel Nicolaus Research Team in connection with Stifel’s acquisition of Legg Mason’s Capital Markets Group in December of 2005.
He joined Legg Mason in 2002 as an associate analyst covering the semiconductor devices industry.
Prior to joining Legg Mason, Mr. Fischer served as a Financial Consultant specializing in venture development and financing, and was a co-founder and vice president of finance and technology for an Internet-based trade exchange.
Mr. Fischer has a B.A.
from St. Olaf College and an M.B.A.
from the Cox School of Business (Southern Methodist University).
He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth.
