Simons is an Operating Partner at Council Capital (formerly known as Council Ventures).
Mr. Simons is a Senior Managing Director with UBS Wealth Management USA, a full-service investment banking firm.
Mr. Simons was formerly Co-Senior Partner of J.C.
Bradford & Co., one of the nation's largest independently owned brokerage firms prior to its sale to UBS PaineWebber, Inc. in June of 2000.
Mr. Simons was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Securities Industry Association, serving two terms as Treasurer, past Chairman of its Regional Firms Committee and member of its Legislative Policy Committee.
Mr. Simons received his BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
