Wayne Adlam

Prior to joining Blackmont, Mr. Adlam spent 18 years at CIBC World Markets, where he was intimately involved in all aspects of the investment banking business, including holding senior positions as the Head of Equity Capital Markets and the Co-Head of Merchant Banking.
Mr. Adlam has worked on hundreds of transactions, ranging from some of the largest deals ever completed in Canada to raising seed financing for emerging companies.
He has developed an extensive client network, and has become widely known for his excellent market intelligence and for providing his clients with honest and straightforward advice.
Mr. Adlam has developed particular expertise in the REIT and income fund sectors, where he has directed numerous IPOs, secondary financings and advisory assignments.
Mr. Adlam received his MBA from the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated as the Gold Medalist, and an Honours BA from the University of Waterloo.
