Attività

A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S è la società di trasporto marittimo leader nel mondo. L'attività del gruppo è organizzata in due settori:
- trasporto marittimo di merci: alla fine del 2023, gestiva una flotta di oltre 707 navi (navi portacontainer, rimorchiatori, navi da rifornimento, navi gasiere e altri trasportatori specializzati). Il gruppo offre anche servizi portuali e logistici;
- altro: principalmente attività legate alla costruzione di cantieri navali, alla gestione di fabbriche (prodotti in plastica e gomma) e alle partecipazioni commerciali.
Le vendite nette sono distribuite geograficamente come segue: Danimarca (1,7%), Stati Uniti (22,4%), Cina e Hong Kong (5,5%), Germania (3,3%), Regno Unito (3,6%), Paesi Bassi (3,1%), Brasile (2,8%), Messico (2,7%), India (2,7%), Spagna (2,6%), Australia (2,5%), Singapore (1,9%) %), Costa Rica (0,7%) e altri (44,5%).
