From 1972 to 1976 he was in the Market Planning Department of Northern California Savings & Loan, and from 1976 to 1980 he was a Security Analyst at the Bank of California.
Allan joined Wentworth, Hauser and Violich in 1981.
He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1980 and the Chartered Investment Counsel designation in 1985.
Mr. Wentworth received a BA from Claremont McKenna College in 1966 and a MBA from Stanford University in 1972.
