Arnold Vogel

Arnold serves as an independent member of the Investment Committee.
He has 13 years of technical and commercial experience in the resources industry, followed by 25 years of experience as a resources investment banker.
Based in Sydney, he was a founding director and retiring chief executive of RMB Resources, the global resources debt and equity financing business of Rand Merchant Bank of South Africa.
Prior to RMB, he was a Vice President at Bankers Trust involved in resources finance and advisory.
Prior industry roles included commodity marketing for Pancontinental Mining (Sydney), project development adviser to the government of Papua New Guinea (Port Moresby), refractory raw materials trading with Industrial Minerals Inc. (Philadelphia), ferroalloys and coal investment and trading with Phibro Corp (Pittsburgh and New York), and process plant operations with De Beers (Namibia and Botswana).
Arnold has a BS Metallurgical Engineering (University of Witwatersrand) and MS Mineral Economics (Pennsylvania State University).
