Ms. Barbara C.
Bentrup is a Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Counsel at Delta Dental of Missouri and a Chairman at YWCA Metro St. Louis.
Ms. Bentrup joined the Delta Dental in 2010.
She is responsible for setting the direction, policy and procedures for all of the financial, tax, compliance and legal matters of the company and its subsidiaries.
She also serves as management liaison to the finance and audit committee and the governance and nominating committee of the board of directors for the company.
Ms. Bentrup has more than 30 years of professional experience.
She came to Delta Dental of Missouri from the St. Louis-based law firm Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C.
Prior to practicing law, she served in various finance positions with UnitedHealthcare, including as the chief financial officer of UnitedHealthcare’s Missouri market.
She also held positions as corporate controller and director of financial reporting for Intensiva HealthCare Corporation, and as audit manager with Price Waterhouse.
Ms. Bentrup earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, her Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Louis University and her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
She is an attorney and certified public accountant.
