Mr. William T.
Lawrence, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at SEI Investments Management Corp.
He leads a global team of investment professionals that are dedicated to the research, development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of a broad suite of equity and fixed income strategies.
His team is responsible for the selection of fund sub-advisors and for managing the allocation among these managers.
Additionally, his team conducts capital market research that supports the implementation of portfolio strategy and the asset allocation views across the firm's Investment Management Unit.
Prior to this role, he was the firm's Head of Global Fixed Income.
Before joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Lawrence was an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he led the Short Duration Portfolio Management Team.
Previously, he was a Director and Head of Fixed Income for CoreStates Investment Advisors, overseeing the management of taxable and tax-exempt portfolios for institutional and private clients.
He also served as a Vice President in Taxable Fixed Income Sales for First Boston handling corporate, mortgage, and asset-backed securities.
Mr. Lawrence earned his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in economics and English from Bucknell University.
He received his Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in finance.
He is a CFA charter holder and is a member of AIMR and the Philadelphia Financial Analysts.
