Siedman is an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Hovde Capital Advisors LLC.
He is responsible for identifying investment opportunities for Hovde Capital Advisors, particularly in the bank and thrift sectors.
Prior to joining the Hovde in 2007, Mr. Siedman spent several years as an independent and sell-side equity research analyst at Seaside Financial Research, Friedman Billings, and UBS.
He also held senior debt analytic roles at Merrill Lynch and Fitch Ratings, after having started his career as a bank regulator at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Mr. Siedman received his BA degree from Cornell University-College of Arts and Sciences with concentrations in Economics and Business Management and holds series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
