Mr. Bolstad joined ShopKo Stores in March 2003 as Senior Vice President, Store Operations and Logistics.
Prior to joining ShopKo, Mr. Bolstad most recently served as Senior Vice President, Operations Group of Fred Meyer Corporation, a large general merchandise and food retailer and a division of Kroger, Inc., from October 2000 to February 2003.
He joined Fred Meyer in 1976 as a store management trainee and was promoted to local, district, regional and corporate store operations leadership positions.
In 2000, he assumed responsibility for logistics management of all Fred Meyer businesses.
