David worked at the Commonwealth Bank in the 1980’s in the areas of asset and liability management, financial analysis and corporate and international banking.
He has been published on the subject of interest rate risk management.
David left the CBA in the late 80’s to work in the Australian aid program where he spent several years as a project analyst.
David has also had stints as an advisor/speechwriter to then Leader of the Australian Democrats, Cheryl Kernot; as an economist in the Third World debt section of Federal Treasury; as a university lecturer in Banking and Finance; as evaluation advisor in the Department of the Environment; and as a senior manager in the business R&D support programs of AusIndustry.
He joined Australian Ethical Investment as Investment Manager in February 2001.
