Dawn Chester

Dawn joined Actis in 2021 to take on the new role of global internal communications, leading strategy development, implementation, and evolution.
As part of her role, she provides communication counsel to leaders across the firm and is actively involved in delivering the change agenda.
Before joining Actis, Dawn spent five years as an independent communication consultant working at NHS Digital, AstraZeneca and Countrywide, supporting organisational change, leading transformation communication programmes and developing internal communication teams.
Prior to this she spent ten years working for Orange Group as Director, Strategic Communications within the Devices Directorate, before moving to Bupa to lead internal communications for their International Development Markets (IDM).
Dawn is an alumna of Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), a qualified business coach and has a CIPR diploma in internal communications.
She holds a BA degree and is an accredited APMG change management practitioner.
