Ed Kim

Mr. Edward Kim, CFA MBA, is a Senior Analyst at MIRI Capital Management LLC.
Mr. Kim was previously a Senior Analyst at Caravan Capital Management LLC, for five years, where he conducted fundamental research on companies across the Firm’s investment strategies, including the MIRI Strategy.
Prior to joining Caravan in 2015, Mr. Kim was an Analyst covering emerging Asia at Victoria 1522 Investments LP, a global emerging markets fund manager, for 6 years.
At Victoria 1522, he provided research coverage of the emerging and frontier markets of North and South Asia, while also covering the Technology sector globally.
He also worked at Pacific View Asset Management as a Senior Analyst on the international small cap strategy.
From 2003 through 2008, he worked in sell-side equity research in both Asia and the US at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and Korea-based Daewoo Securities, specializing in small and mid-cap technology companies.
He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
