Jens Stoltenberg is the current Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, a position he has held since 2014.
Prior to this, he served as the Prime Minister of Norway from 2005 to 2013, and also held the position of Prime Minister from 2000 to 2001.
He was the Minister of Finance from 1996 to 1997 and the State Secretary for the Norway Ministry of Climate & Environment in 1991.
Stoltenberg was also the Leader of the Labour Party from 2002 to 2014 and the Leader of the Workers' Youth League from 1985 to 1989.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oslo in 1987.
