Mr. John A. Allison is a Chief Investment Officer at Unio Capital LLC and a President & Chief Executive Officer at Unio Holdings LLC.
He founded Unio Capital in 2012.
He serves as CEO and Chief Investment Officer with overall responsibility for portfolio management.
He has over 30 years of investment experience managing funds for institutional and high-net-worth clients.
Prior to founding Unio, Mr. Allison was Chairman and CEO of WP Stewart Asset Management, which managed roughly $15 billion in global equity portfolios.
He was instrumental in globalizing the firm, growing its assets from $5 billion to $15 billion, and taking it public on the NYSE in 2000.
He began his career as an institutional investment portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley Asset Management, where he managed emerging growth equities and large-cap balanced accounts for sovereign wealth funds and institutions.
He later purchased and developed a high-net worth individual money-management firm, Auchincloss & Lawrence before merging it with WP Stewart.
He earned his BA from Princeton University, and an MA & MPhil from Columbia University.
