Mr. Goode has over 46 years of investment industry experience and is a member of the ClearBridge Investments Management Committee.
He joined the firm in December 2005 after the acquisition of Smith Barney Asset Management where he joined in 1969.
He began his career in 1969 as a Research Analyst with Davis Skaggs & Co. He went on to become Director of Research in 1971 and Chairman of the Board in 1982.
In 1983, he was instrumental in merging Davis Skaggs with Shearson American Express.
In 1988, he became the president and CEO of Davis Skaggs Investment Management.
He received his BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
