Leslie Kiefer Amann

Prior to joining Sentinel Trust Co. in 2006, Ms. Amann was Market Trust Executive and Senior Vice President at Bank of America where she had primary responsibility for its fiduciary business in markets spanning three states.
She has served on the faculty of both the Texas and the American Bankers Associations' Trust and Graduate Trust Schools.
She taught for twelve years as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law School.
She began her work in trust at Charter Bank in 1995 after leaving private law practice.
Ms. Amann is the current President of the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council and a member of the Texas Banker's Association Wealth Management and Trust Division Advisory Committee.
She sits on the University of Houston Law Center Alumni Board of Directors Executive Committee, a University of St. Thomas Development Advisory Board and the Executive Board of the Houston Estate and Financial Forum.
Ms. Amann received her JD from the University of Houston Law Center and a BA from Texas State University.
The author of numerous papers on various trust and fiduciary issues, Ms. Amann is often asked to speak at continuing education events.
She is a member of the Texas Bar College, the Texas State Bar and the Houston Bar Association, the Texas and Houston Bar Associations' Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Sections, Attorneys in Tax and Probate, and Women in Real Estate and Finance.
She is also a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the University of Houston Law School's A.A.
White Society.
