Metro Pacific Corporation ('the Group' or 'the Company') was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 1986. In May 1990, the Company’s shares of stock were offered to the public and listed with the Philippine Stock Exchange. The Parent Company is engaged in the business of real estate investments and property development, and investment holdings in subsidiaries and associates. The Parent Company is majority-owned by Metro Pacific Holdings, Inc. (“MPHI”) (34.96%) and Metro Pacific Resources, Inc. (“MPRI”) (34.73%). MPHI is a Philippine corporation whose stockholders are Enterprise Investment Holdings, Inc. (60.0%), Intalink B.V. (26.7%) and First Pacific International Limited (13.3%). MPRI, on the other hand, is a 60%-owned subsidiary of MPHI. The remaining 40% interest in MPRI is owned by Metro Pacific Investment Limited. Intalink B.V., First Pacific International Limited and Metro Pacific Investment Limited are foreign associated companies of First Pacific Company Limited (“First Pacific”) in Hong Kong.
