Prior to founding AFW, Mr. Weitzman was with Hewitt Associates, a 65 year-old firm with 24,000 employees in 35 countries, serving the needs of 2,500 multinational clients.
He is a past president, and currently serves on the board, of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Region Board and is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
Mr. Weitzman obtained his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, his MBA in Finance and Management from Columbia University and is a Certified Financial Planner.
