Max began his career at Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T) where he held various roles across the bank's commercial and corporate divisions; his primary focus included business development, underwriting, and portfolio management.
Prior to joining Salem, Max managed the middle market efforts for Pinnacle Bank across the Greensboro/Winston Salem region where he advised on M&A and growth financing, cash flow optimization, and ownership succession.
Max graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S.
in Finance and completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
