Omri Gainsburg

Omri is Chief Operating Officer, Americas, and a Partner at Meridiam.
Omri was previously Meridiam’s Director for Turkey and Eurasia, based in Istanbul.
While overseeing Meridiam’s portfolio and expansion in the region, Omri led innovation in emerging market project finance, such as the blended finance green bond for the Elazig City Hospital PPP in Turkey.
Omri also contributed to the establishment of The Urban Resilience Fund, a 500 million euro global blended finance impact fund launched by Meridiam in partnership with The Rockefeller Foundation and the United Nations Capital Development Fund to support cities globally in delivering resilient, urban infrastructure projects.
Before Istanbul, Omri was based in New York and then Paris where he led and contributed to investments in mobility, public buildings, and energy transition sectors.
Prior to joining Meridiam, Omri worked for Lazard in New York in its Restructuring Advisory practice.
Omri holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
