Before joining G.C.
Andersen Partners in 2005, Mr. Hartman worked as a Financial Sponsor, M&A and corporate finance investment banker and attorney on over 100 transactions.
Most recently, Mr. Hartman was a Senior Vice President at Maxcor Inc., a boutique M&A and restructuring firm, where he led the firms M&A divestiture transactions focused on manufacturing, consumer brands and business services companies.
Previously, Mr. Hartman worked as an investment banker in the Leverage Finance and Financial Sponsors Groups at Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers where he focused on coverage of large and middle market financial sponsors.
Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Hartman was a corporate attorney with Lesser & Kaplin working on capital-raising transactions, a business development Vice President and General Counsel with Global Internet Management, and a partner in Premier Business Plans.
Mr. Hartman is Chairman of the Kellogg Private Equity Alumni Group, Co-Chairman of the Villanova Sports & Entertainment Law Journal Advisory Board and serves on Boards of Leverage Sports, Inc. (a New York based sports marketing and sponsorship agency), the University of Pennsylvania Lightweight Crew Alumni Board, and Urban Options.
Mr. Hartman received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Entrepreneurship from the Wharton School, a JD from Villanova Law School and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
