Suzann Smart

Suzann Smart has been the executive director of the Ellis Hospital Foundation since 1992.
She is a graduate of the University of Rochester, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Theater.
Before coming to Ellis Hospital, Suzann was assistant director of development at Parsons Child and Family Center in Albany and a fundraising consultant in the Capital Region.
Prior to that, she was the director of development and public relations at the Children's Museum in Indianapolis, IN.
the world's largest museum for children.
Suzann is a member of the Hudson Mohawk Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a group that named her Outstanding Fundraising Executive of 1995, and a member of the Association of Health Care Philanthropy.
