Tom Kersting

Kersting, CFA, is a Principal & Fixed Income Research at Edward D.
Jones & Co. LP.
He began his career with Edward Jones in 1997 in the Research department.
He became an equity analyst following financial services stocks in 2000 and covered financial services stocks for nine years.
In 2011, he was named a member of the Edward Jones’ Investment Policy Committee, and in 2014, he was named an Edward Jones principal.
He is currently responsible for the firm’s Fixed Income Research department and provides advice and guidance on broad fixed-income topics as an investment strategist.
Mr. Kersting graduated from Truman State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis.
