Mr. Torben Kjær was previously a Senior Investment Officer at the IFU, an organisation which participates with equity/loans and business advice for companies investing in emerging markets, where he originated and completed a large number of investment projects in Eastern Europe and Central and South Asia in consumer goods, beverages, hotels, pet food production, renewable energy and general industry.
He worked for 14 years at Carlsberg Breweries A/S including roles of Head of Carlsberg Asia Regional Office in Malaysia and General Manager for Eastern Europe (export and affiliates), where he was responsible for a number of acquisitions and integration/restructuring projects in Europe and Asia.
He has also served as a member of supervisory boards for emerging market subsidiaries at Carlsberg and IFU.
