Prior to joining AGF in April 2006, Mr. Tong was an equity research associate at BMO Nesbitt Burns, where he focused on telecom equipment and industrial equipment sectors.
Prior to that, he spent two years as an investment banking associate at Bank of America Securities’ Media and Telecom group in New York.
Hestarted his career in 1993 as an engineer for IBM, before joining Nortel Networks, where he held progressively responsible roles.
Mr. Tong has a B.Sc.
in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
He is a CFA charter holder and is a licensed professional engineer.
