Ali Dabier

Ali Dabier is Senior Vice President, Malaysian Operations of Komag, Inc. He has been with Komag since 1988.
He was named Senior Vice President, Malaysian Operations in August 2005.
From July 2004 to August 2005, he acted as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and was a Managing Director of Komag's Malaysian Operations, based in Penang, Malaysia, from June 2001 to July 2004.
His promotion to Vice President, Managing Director Komag USA, SDN occurred in December 2002.
From 1988 until the Komag-HMT merger in 2000, he managed HMT's sputter and test operations at their Fremont facility and then assumed the position of General Manager at their substrate facility in Eugene, Oregon.
His career in disk manufacturing began in the quality division of Lin Data Corporation in Santa Clara, CA in 1983.
