Jason Farber

Prior to co-founding Carlin Capital Partners, Mr. Farber was a Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Platinum Equity, a multi-billion dollar global private equity firm.
At Platinum, he evaluated, negotiated and structured acquisitions, divestitures, and related debt financings.
Although predominantly operating out of the firm's global headquarters in Beverly Hills focused on acquisition opportunities across North America and Asia, he relocated for a period to Platinum's European headquarters in Paris to serve as a member of its dedicated European M&A team.
In addition to his role leading M&A efforts, he served on the board of several Platinum portfolio companies, providing oversight, guidance and assistance to management on a variety of financial and operational matters.
Mr. Farber also served as a Vice President of ARC Investment Partners, an alternative investment firm focused on providing growth capital to pre-IPO businesses, during its start-up phase.
He evaluated investment opportunities, negotiated and structured short-term financing solutions and participated in general firm marketing and strategic planning.
He began his career in New York as an investment banking analyst with Broadview International (now a division of Jefferies), focusing exclusively on advising technology companies on mergers and acquisitions.
At Broadview, he participated in all aspects of industry research, financial modeling and analysis, marketing and negotiations associated with client engagements.
In addition, he was asked by Broadview's senior leadership to take on a role as a specialist in the preparation and issuance of fairness opinions.
Mr. Farber received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
