Jason McBride

Jason is a partner at M12 in San Francisco, where he focuses on early-stage investments in cloud infrastructure and vertical SaaS.
Prior to joining M12, Jason was a director of business development for Microsoft’s Software and Digital Platform (SDP) where he was tasked with sourcing and executing strategic partnerships for early and later stage startups spanning across SaaS, cloud infrastructure, dev ops, and cybersecurity.
In this role, Jason helped startups secure strategic investment, scale and optimize through the adoption of Azure, and increase their top-line growth through co-sell motions.
Additionally, Jason sourced Seed and Series A investments as a scout for Lightspeed following his role as founder for a SaaS-based contract automation platform.
Jason has 15 years of operations, business development, and product management experience within the enterprise software and cybersecurity sectors.
He has a JD from UCLA School of Law, MA in Policy Analysis, MA in Sociology, and BA in Psychology from Stanford University.
