Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Black led the lean transformation of New Products, Supply Chain, and Operations for Micro Power Electronics, a portfolio company of Westin Presidio.
Prior to Micro Power Electronics, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations and led the lean transformation of Douglas Dynamics, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Group.
He has also led numerous lean transformations as a consultant for Kaiser Aluminum, Butler Manufacturing, Maytag, Pella Windows, and Vermeer.
