Marty Altenberger

Mr. Marty Altenberger is Senior Vice President & Director-Branch Services at Benjamin F.
Edwards & Co., Inc. He joined Benjamin F.
Edwards & Co. in 2008 as senior vice president and manager of Branch Services.
In that capacity, he is working to open company branches and help facilitate the transitions of financial consultants and their client accounts.
As a vice president and branch administrator from 1995 to 2007 reporting directly to the branch director, he served as the Home Office liaison for the regional managers for the Southern, Southeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions.
In that capacity, he supervised daily branch sales activity, assisted branch managers with supervisory and regulatory issues, as well as coordinated Home Office visits for new financial consultants and branch managers and facilitated branch openings.
In addition to his daily responsibilities, he assisted with the coordination of the firm’s annual regional sales meetings, where he also made presentations to the attendees on matters relating to branch operations and procedures.
Mr. Altenberger joined A.G.
Edwards in 1983 and, until 1994, worked in the Operations/Margin Department, initially starting as a margin clerk for numerous branches.
