From 1989 to 1997 she was the controller and director of Investor Relations for the Hallwood Companies, a group of 30 publicly traded oil and gas companies located in Denver and Dallas.
From 1981 to 1989 she worked as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, most recently as senior manager; there, she served clients in the healthcare, financial services, oil and gas, retail, government, not-for-profit, manufacturing, automotive and construction industries including General Motors, Janus Funds, Oppenheimer Funds, Catholic Charities, the Colorado Department of Education and the American Lung Association.
Ms. Brook is a Certified Public Accountant and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
