He was an Independent Director at The Kroger Co. from 1991 to 2014.
He also served as a Director at Trustmark Corp.
from 1978 to 2009 and as a Lead Independent Director at AT&T, Inc. from 2006 to 2015.
Prior to that, he worked as an Associate Counsel at the N.A.A.C.P.
Legal Defense & Educational Fund, Inc. from 1968 to 1977.
Mr. Anderson completed his undergraduate degree at Tougaloo College in 1964.
He then went on to earn his graduate degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1967.
