Mr. Ricky K.
Kimalat, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Pugh Capital Management, Inc. He is responsible for the firm’s Long Duration product and has over 20 years of experience in investments, asset/liability modeling and tailoring solutions for defined benefit plans.
He frequently contributes to Pugh Capital’s intellectual capital through his quantitative research of issuers, industries, and the markets.
His understanding of Liability Driven Investments (LDI) provides a valuable lens for the portfolio management team.
In addition, Mr. Kimalat is responsible for research coverage of the Build America Bonds (BABs) and Sovereign sectors.
Prior to joining Pugh Capital Management, he worked at Mercer Investment Consulting in the Financial Strategy Group, assisting plan sponsors manage and implement their growth assets and LDI strategies in the context of their pension liabilities.
Mr. Kimalat graduated from Bradley University with a B.S.
in Mathematics.
He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a CFA charter holder.
