He served as Vice President of Corporate Development of May Department Stores Co. from 1983 to 1989 and Assistant Vice President of Fingerhut Corporation from 1978 to 1982 and held various financial management positions with TransWorld Airlines from 1968 to 1978.
Mr. McDowell received a Bachelor's degree from Bryant University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
